She has been in the wine business for over 25 years having worked at two different winemaking facilities previous to purchasing Glass Act Winemaking in 2002. Cocktail of the Month October 2020 RED MOON OVER MANHATTAN

INGREDIENTS
2 oz red wine 1/2 oz bourbon 1/2 oz simple syrup 1 large round ice sphere 3 gourmet maraschino cherries
DIRECTIONS
Shake all of the ingredients together with ice for 20 seconds. Rub orange peel around the rim of the glass. Add in the ice sphere and strain the cocktail over the ice. Scoop one cherry to place inside the drink and add two more on a twig garnish the glass!
We get provided these cocktails every month by our supplier RJS Craft Winemaking. This one looked especially tasty to me and somewhat mysterious! Could it be because its close to Halloween? Whatever it is, this Red Moon Over Manhattan will soon be in my belly!
